Produce your short film in Berlin!
Organized Organized by cinema professionals in one of the most fascinating cities of Europe, the International Film Workshop Academy offers young talented filmmakers in Italy the opportunity to produce a short film as the culmination of an intensive course of study.
The International Film Workshop Academy (InFWA is an initiative targeted to young Italian emerging talents engaged in the creation and production of cinema and television. The fundamental objective of the Academy is to give these young filmmakers the possibility to broaden their knowledge of production and direction, learning the mechanisms of international co-productions as well as experiencing alternative production methods which are different from those known in Italy.
InFWA will begin its activity with workshops in Berlin, taking advantage of the vigorous production activity and growing success of German cinema and television production.
InFWA organizes intensive month-long workshops, in the city of Berlin, where the participants receive training in the fields of production, photography and directing with professional instructors who are active in the fields of direction and production of cinema and television.

The inaugural InFWA workshop in Berlin was a great success!
8 participants from various regions of Italy completed 5 short films of a very high quality, with each film differing greatly in style and content.
InFWA is very proud of the concrete results of the workshop, the positive feedback received from the participants, and of the unconditional dedication of the staff and teachers.
InFWA also takes this opportunity to congratulate Florian Schilling, teacher of photography for InFWA, upon winning the esteemed prize for Best Photography in the Shanghai International Film Festival for his work in the competition film “My Mother’s Tears” from director Alejandro Cardenas, also part of the teaching staff of InFWA.
CineCampus concludes with great success at the Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma
CineCampus represented an invaluable opportunity for 15 students of cinema to meet with diverse professionals from a variety of disciplines in the national and international cinema community. Among the professiona ls conducting Master Classes at the CineCampus were: German director Edgar Reitz (Heimat), director Marco Risi (Ragazzi Fuori, Maradona), director of photography Marco Onorato (L'Imbalsamatore, Gomorra), producer Joana Vicente (Redacted, Coffee and Cigarettes) producer Amadeo Pagani (Birdwatchers, 2046), editor Roberto Perpignani (Il Postino, L'educazione fisica delle fanciulle), and other important figures from the cinema community.
